Medical Devices Consumer Code Workshop
PAGB’s Medical Devices Consumer Code applies to advertising for all self care medical devices in scope of PAGB membership. This workshop will give you an overview of the rules around advertising medical devices, and help you understand how to apply the code to your campaigns.
The workshop covers the core principles of the PAGB Medical Devices Consumer Code, which supports best advertising practice and reflects CAP and MHRA positions on advertising medical devices.
In this workshop, you’ll learn about what you can do when advertising self care medical devices, and how the rules differ from OTC medicines advertising. We explain what to consider when jointly promoting the two product categories together and practical advice on keeping your campaigns compliant.
You’ll also get an overview of medical devices regulation – updated to reflect the latest changes in our relationship with the EU – and find out how PAGB’s submissions process works for self care medical devices.
This workshop is delivered by members of PAGB’s advertising services team. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and explore what it means for your brands
Who should attend?
Anyone working on advertising and marketing for self care medical devices products will find this course invaluable for understanding how to ensure your campaigns are compliant with PAGB’s Medical Devices Consumer Code.
Format
This is a short course (around 2.5 hours). The workshop is delivered by members of the PAGB advertising services team who use a combination of presentations and case studies during the sessions and encourage interaction and questions. You will receive a copy of the presentation to take away, and we’ll send you a certificate of attendance after the event.

Workshop places will be charged at the below price rates:
PAGB members and associate members: £230 + VAT @ 20%
Non-members: £645 + VAT @ 20%
