PAGB introduction to CBD workshop

In 2019 CBD was classified as a novel food which means it is now a regulated ingredient. Join us for an online workshop where we will explain the regulatory landscape for CBD, including the novel foods regulation and authorisation process.

This workshop will cover:

  • CBD as a novel food
  • The regulatory landscape for novel foods, including current situation in EU and UK
  • Advertising regulations and requirements for CBD food supplement products
  • How PAGB can support members bringing CBD food supplement products into membership

Who should attend?

If you work in a regulatory or brand management role for food supplements, or if you’re a supplier working with clients in the consumer healthcare industry, this course will help you get an understanding of the current novel foods regulation and CBD requirements.

Don’t just take our word for it, this is what a previous workshop attendee said:
‘’The workshop was very informative, explaining the current regulatory landscape for CBD, history, scientific facts, rules on how to place products on the market and compliant marketing.’’
