There’s less than two months to go until the British consumer healthcare industry comes together to celebrate its achievements at the 26th Annual OTC Marketing Awards.

Following a challenging 18 months for industry, the ceremony on 1 December at the Royal Lancaster London will be a night to remember, and one not to be missed, with Awards across 19 categories to be handed out to worthy winners.

This includes a special one-off Award – Best COVID-19 initiative by an OTC Company – recognising industry’s efforts in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

More than 30 consumer healthcare firms and their agencies, from large multinationals to nimble start-ups, have been nominated for the OTC Awards, which are organized by Informa Pharma Intelligence and supported by PAGB.

Our panel of expert judges – including retailers, consumer healthcare specialists, and authorities on advertising, innovation, packaging design, pharmacy training, public relations, and digital and social media – participated in the finalist selection process.

“To be shortlisted for an OTC Marketing Award is an achievement in itself given the particularly high quality of entries we’ve seen this year,” commented Tom Gallen, managing editor, Europe, HBW Insight. “Those nominated should be proud of the innovation and creative excellence they have displayed to catch the eye of our specialist judges.”

“We look forward to welcoming the best and brightest of the British OTC industry on 1 December,” he added, “and celebrating what manufacturers and agencies large and small have achieved in difficult times.”

For over a quarter of a century, the OTC Marketing Awards has honoured the best product launches, advertising campaigns, packaging redesigns and pharmacy initiatives.

Last year’s winners included Perrigo – crowned Company of the Year – and Teva’s Sudocrem, for the Best Big Budget OTC Marketing Campaign.

Make sure you join the party at the British OTC industry’s most talked-about and glamorous night of the year. Reserve a table to entertain clients or say thank you to your colleagues. Or simply come along to enjoy an event of networking with your industry peers. Tables can now be booked online at the OTC Marketing Awards website here.
